Connecting Iraq's Pharmaceutical Industry

LAUNCHING IRAQ'S FIRST B2B NETWORK

Despite instability, Iraq's pharmaceutical industry is estimated at 2 billion dollars yet it is highly unorganized with many obstacles in it's way to development.  In collaboration with government regulatory bodies, a web based network connecting pharmacies, suppliers and the government was launched with astounding reception from the industry.

The network uses social network design to capture current workflow model and utilize Big Data methods to analyze collected data.  Lead by two founders, Mr. Hussein KanberAgha and Hani Qassim, the initiative is to accomplish the following objectives:

  • Increase market efficiency for supply and demand of pharmaceuticals
  • Optimize whole sale purchase workflow
  • Develop financial services with institutions to accelerate industry development
  • Collect and analyze feedback data from pharmaceutical users
  • Support government regulations and connect with global standards associations
