Books listed below are what we think have profound impact in today's business.  While many books are released constantly promising wealth and gains as marketing gimmicks, these books are the ones that we think don't.

By Jason Fried

Audacious essays on specific topics in the approach to running a successful business.  Jason Fried uses his experience running his multi-million dollar in revenue online business 37Signals Inc. with his partner David Hanssen Heinmeier.  The book takes a stab on norms like meetings saying that they are poisonous suggesting meeting only when there is work to be shown.  Highly recommended book to read.

Start Small, Stay Small: A Developer's Guide to Launching a Startup

By Rob Walling

The $100 Startup: Reinvent the Way You Make a Living, Do What You Love, and Create a New Future

By Chris Guillebeau

Too markety title? Don't judge it just yet.  This book is one of our favourite.  It will change the way you view what we call business.  Chris reviews real businesses today that started with literally $100 and is operating with high success.  He discusses subtle yet very powerful views on what makes a business tick to success.  Some have stuck in my mind for so long making us ponder for days on end.

The Wealth of Nations

By Adam Smith

Yes, the bible of capitalism and economics.  In today's world with the many twisted globalization models and complex financial systems, people has forgotten the meaning of money, production and forces behind them.  Going back to basics with Adam Smith to re-align views that drive our everyday decisions and judgements.  This book was written based on previous book by Adam Smith which gave the foundation it: The Theory of Moral Sentiments.  Also a great read.
